What I can offer:

Many thanks for the storytelling session, I had some excellent feedback from parents!” The Egg,

Classes:

Paula Brown's Pea Green Boat aims to bring together story, movement, music and games, together with exploration of elements and sensory play, creating a play session for you to enjoy with your children.

As an early years educator, storyteller, playworker and outdoor workshop leader, Paula supports your children while they explore their world and share their experiences with you. We have lots of fun!

Currently I am running classes on on Tuesday, more days in the new year...

9.40am - from around 18 months to around 3 years old. This session is a blend of music, movement, sensory play, puppets and games, a beautiful silk parachute, themed around a different traditional folktale from around the world and well-known children's story each week. “You have such a lovely manner with the children – full of humour and gentleness” T, mother of M, age 2

10.30am - babies from 2 months until established crawling*. The session starts with feedback on everyone's week and a discussion about general parenting topics of interest. Loosely based around a story or theme carers and their babies enjoy sensory play, singing, stories and puppets, a beautiful silk parachute, movement-based activities, dance and relaxation. “N smiled for the whole of his first baby class then slept for 4 hours afterwards and a normal night after that!” P, mum of baby

11.20am - as 9.40am

12.10pm - children in their nursery / preschool year, 3-4 year olds (interested parents of Reception aged children who don't have a school place or don't start for some time please drop me a line). Please bring a packed lunch. This session will be quite broad in scope and child-led, going with the children's interests and possibly using St Andrews Park when the weather is good. There will be a story each week, movement, music, then each week some of the following: arts / crafts; sewing; simple woodwork; outdoor activities; creative cooking, exploring sound, light and the senses and simple science. Bring a packed lunch for you and your children – siblings welcome (no mushy peas will be served!). “Paula is fabulous!” M, aged 4
